DIY Playpen using PVC Pipes
Hello mommas! I just want to share something very helpful and economical. My son was 6 months old when my husband and I decided to make a playpen/play yard for him that can fit 2 to 3 persons. We have a small playpen but my little one's restless and wants to get out of it because of its very limited space. And we all know that the play yard in the malls are expensive and it is out of our budget. And also, because I am a breastfeeding momma, the convenience of having this is so overwhelming, I can easily feed my son inside. This is also recommended to full time moms and stay at home moms, you can now leave your little ones in it with their toys and do other chores.
So here are the things that you'll need for this:
PVC pipes
cable ties
net/tool/petticoat tool and
foam/mat
HERE'S THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION:
- You'll need at least 2 to 10 pvc pipes (depends on your desired size/measurements).
- Connect the pvc pipes with the pvc connectors and put it on using the pvc glue.
- Net/tool/petticoat tool. I sew on the edges of the petticoat tool first to ensure its durability.
- Put on the net/tool/petticoat tool around the pvc pipes and connect it using the cable ties.
- Now place the foam/rubber mat and the baby inside. And you're done!
For only P1,000.00 we were able to make this DIY play pen. Which is very affordable compared to those inside the mall that will range 3k to 8k. And this is big enough that it can fit 2 adults and 2 kids. Make your own now. I would love to see your DIY playpen project too! 😊
